With the Solar Plexus we have moved from earth to water to fire. Its element is Fire and its purpose is transformation. The third chakra transforms the inertia of earth and water into action, energy and power. The first two chakras flow downward, subject to gravity and to forms already in existence. Fire flows upward, destroying form and taking the raw energy to a new dimension. This is also where we store emotions and is where we begin our ongoing homework for finding our core belief system.

The pancreas is associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra. The pancreas is an elongated organ located toward the back of the abdomen behind the stomach. The pancreas has digestive and hormonal functions.

Through the Enegetic Field of Genesis Gateway the Archangel associated with the solar plexus chakra is Raphael. His name means, "God Heals". The solar plexus chakra is where our emotions are stored and these emotions can and will cause health issues. Raphael is the Archangel of healing and there for he is the one that oversees the solar plexus and the emotions that reside within.
