Yoga is meant to unite mind, body and spirit. Many yoga classes are designed to give only your body a work out. Often ignored is the deeply meditative and spiritual aspects of yoga, which can serve as the path for our journey toward inner peace. Chakras Yoga helps us return to the Eight Limbs of Yoga by focusing on more than poses.
Chakras Yoga teaches us to quiet the mind and free the body and spirit of all that does not serve us. This restorative yoga practice calms the nervous system while gently strengthening the body.
Chakras Yoga postures help us find forgiveness, healing and freedom. When we practice yoga we begin a journey of self discovery and with each small change we experience within, we come closer to changing the human consciousness as a whole.
Baddha Konasana
This position or posture encourages
Energy flow in all levels of the
Sacral Chakra
1) Sit on the floor, bending your knees and keeping your back straight.
2) Turn the soles of your feet to face each other.
3) Place the fingers of both hands over your toes. Draw your feet in towards your body. Don’t try to force your knees nearer the floor. The more you relax your pelvis, the more the muscles will allow the knees to fall.
4) Stay in this position for a few moments before relaxing.
