The Throat Chakra is associated with the color blue. It is the color of communication and peacefulness. When the Throat Chakra becomes blocked or stressed, peace may be difficult if not possible to achieve. Whenever there is an inappropriate concentration of energy, pressure begins to build up. An outward flow of energy is the only means of restoring balance; releasing this pressure. This outward flow is achieved through communication and expression through the activity of the Throat Chakra. This is where we learn to speak our inner truths, both to the universe and to ourselves.
