Archangel Haziel was thought to have walked as a mortal offspring of the Gershonites. The Gershonites were one of the four main divisions among the Levites in Biblical times. The four divisions were descended from Gershon, Son of Levi. What he taught to the people and he walked among them was the Priestly Code of caring for the Temples and differentiation of religious activity between the Gershonites and other Levites.
