Finding True Self
Take your on going homework back out. Now that you are more familiar with the Throat Chakra, look at your list, mark off that which no longer applies. Add new statements to your list, first those beginning with, "I Should", then those beginning with, "I Want". By this time you may be finding it more difficult to add to the "I Should" list and finding that you have either found a way to add them to the "I want", or have eliminated them. You are beginning to see that your perceptions are changing, you are letting go of hurt feelings and seeing through new eyes and speaking your own truths. Put it away for a few days then take it out and review it. Be sure to bring it with you to the next class.
Once again lets revisit the pie saga. Through the energies of the Throat Chakra we see that due to inherited belief systems I was unable to speak my truth. My childhood core belief was children were seen not heard, if one spoke up you were call stupid, therefore the entire incident was internalize. I did not say, "Save me piece of pie", nor did I say, "That was a mean thing to do". Instead I internalize it, stored it in my Solar Plexus allowing it to fester until it broke my heart. As adults we can speak our, "Truths". What truths are you internalizing? What are you needing to say, even if it is just to yourself but keeping it locked within? Are you afraid to here your Truths?
By being afraid of hearing our own truths we keep stuck in old patterns. If you have let a self deception guide your life, then by hearing your own truth one would have to see that an internalize misconception has guided our life. If I live my life in accordance to, "I am always a victim", then I look at it and see that the only one that made me a victim was me, how can I now justify my behavior towards all that I thought victimized me. Talk about Karma to clean up. Speak your truth to yourself if not to anyone else.
