Reiki is a Japanese word meaning ‘universal life force ’ Reiki is a safe and relaxing energy sharing modality that helps improve the life force energy to assist in facilitating healing within the body. Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual imbalances.
Reiki has no religious affiliation or dogma and can be learned by anyone. With the internet, it is not difficult to find the symbols that are associated with different traditions of Reiki. However, to fully understand and activate the energy of the symbols within the practitioner, an attunement, by a Reiki Master/Teacher, channeling the reiki energy, is necessary.
We offer practitioner and master/teacher attunements in Seichim Reiki and Karuna Reiki®.
Seichim Reiki
Seichim (pronounced "Say-sheem") is living light energy as well as an ancient Egyptian system of healing wisdom. Seichim is the Western pronunciation for the Sanskrit character meaning “Living Light Energy” and is used to designate both the energy itself and the healing system using this Living Light Energy.
Karuna Reiki®
Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action." Karuna Reiki® allows you to open more to working with spiritual beings.
