Reiki for Dogs

Reiki for Dogs is a non-invasive energy healing technique. It promotes deep relaxation, helping to naturally reduce anxiety, relieve pain, and accelerate physical recovery from illness or surgery. It is an effective complementary tool for soothing trauma, easing chronic conditions, and providing end-of-life comfort.

How it Works

• Energy Perception: Dogs are highly sensitive to energy and naturally pick up on how a practitioner feels, allowing them to easily connect with the Reiki process. 
• Hands-off or Distance Healing: Because dogs do not always sit still, many practitioners offer "hands-off" or distance Reiki sessions. In-person sessions often allow the dog to dictate how close they want to be to the practitioner. 
• Potential Benefits:  Reiki is often used o reduce separation anxiety, manage chronic pain, and soothe nervous pets during stressful events like vet visits.

• Intensity Concerns:  Occasionally Reiki can causing minor side effects like sneezing fits. 
• Distance Reiki Preference:  distance healing  prevents nervous or stressed dogs from feeling cornered during the process. 

For distance Reiki clients are requested to email photo or photos of you and your dog. This photo helps to concentrate Reiki engery to your particualr pet. A time will be designated for the Reiki session, the client and their dog then sit in a quiet setting away from television or electronics. You simply sit quietly with your dog maintaining a calming space. The Reiki Master then sends calming, balancing energy across time and space through quantum entanglement to your dog.
